How far in advance do I need to book?

We require a minimum of 24 hours advance notice for all appointments. This allows us to confirm your location, prepare documentation, and ensure a smooth on-site experience. For urgent needs please call us directly at (425) 476-7197 and we will do our best to accommodate.

What does the person being tested need to bring?

A valid government-issued photo ID is required for all collections. For DOT testing, donors should avoid excessive fluids beforehand. We will confirm any additional requirements when you book.

How long does a collection take?

Most collections are completed in 15 to 30 minutes on-site. We handle all paperwork, chain-of-custody documentation, and specimen packaging so your employee is back to work quickly.

How do I get the results?

Results are delivered by the laboratory directly to the employer's designated employer representative (DER) or through the MRO for DOT-regulated testing. Skyside handles the collection and chain-of-custody. The lab and MRO handle result reporting.

Are your collections DOT compliant?

Yes. All DOT collections follow 49 CFR Part 40 procedures, including proper chain-of-custody documentation, observed and unobserved collection protocols where applicable, and temperature verification. Every collection is handled as if it will be audited.

What happens if a specimen is rejected by the lab?

If a specimen is rejected for any reason we will work with you to schedule a recollection promptly at no additional collection fee. Proper documentation of the discrepancy is maintained throughout.

Do you work with individuals or just businesses?

Both. We serve individuals needing pre-employment testing, court-ordered or probation compliance, personal legal matters, and immigration-related DNA collection. Please note that all individual appointments are conducted at a business location. We do not perform collections at private residences. No employer account is required to book.

What areas do you serve?

Our primary service area covers Monroe to Seattle including Bothell, Mill Creek, Everett, Lynnwood, Woodinville, Kirkland, Redmond, Bellevue, Shoreline, and Edmonds. Service outside this area is available by request. Contact us to confirm coverage for your location.
